This eco-friendly and noiseless excursion offers a unique perspective of the Upper Sûre Nature Park, allowing passengers to immerse themselves in the scenic beauty while discovering the rich flora and fauna of the region.

Guided tours onboard the solar boat provide insights into the lake’s history, the surrounding area, and the importance of safeguarding drinking water. Passengers also have the opportunity to venture into secluded side arms of the lake and explore the Burfelt Forest Discovery Centre on the mainland.

The two-hour excursion accommodates up to 23 passengers and operates at designated times:

  • Once daily from 1 May to 14 June and from 1 September to 1 October at 3pm.
  • Three times daily from 15 June to 31 August at 10am, 1.45pm, and 4pm. Please note that no trips are scheduled on Mondays.

Since its launch in 2002, the solar boat has emerged as a popular attraction in the Upper Sûre Nature Park, hosting an average of 3,300 passengers per season. Advance booking is recommended and can be arranged by phone at (+352) 89 93 31 - 1 or via email at info@naturpark-sure.lu.
