Authorities eventually caught up with the errant motorist and performed a search of the vehicle. Luxembourgish sniffer dog “Balto” located around 3.5 kilos of hashish hidden beneath the floor of the car during a search for contraband.
The public prosecutor ordered the seizure of both the vehicle and the drugs, while the 19 year old driver, who was found to have an invalid licence, was consequently arrested.
