Three separate accidents on Sunday evening left six people injured, while firefighters were also called out to several bin fires across the country.

The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) reported several traffic accidents and fires on Sunday evening.

The first incident occurred at around 5pm on the CR324 near Pintsch, on the road towards Hosingen. A motorcyclist fell and was injured in the crash. An ambulance from Hosingen attended the scene and treated the casualty.

At approximately 7.45pm, another accident took place on the A13 motorway heading towards Pétange. A car collided with the crash barrier, and an ambulance from Pétange was dispatched. One person was injured.

Shortly before 8.50pm, a further collision occurred in Esch-sur-Alzette, on Rue Batty Weber. Two cars were involved in the crash, resulting in four people being injured. Emergency services responded with two ambulances from Esch and additional units from Sanem-Differdange and Pétange.

Firefighters were also called to several bin fires, including in Erpeldange-sur-Sûre and two other fires in Luxembourg City: on Avenue de la Gare in the Gare district and on Rue des Capucins. No injuries were reported in connection with those incidents.
