The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) report six separate road incidents overnight across Luxembourg, resulting in two injured people.

The first crash occurred at 9.27pm at the Raemerich roundabout in Esch, where a car collided with a tree. Firefighters from Esch and an ambulance crew from Schifflange were called out.

Later, at 1.34am, a person was injured on Route de Longwy in Rodange after a car struck several parked vehicles. Emergency services from Pétange and Sanem-Differdange attended the scene.

Single-vehicle accidents were also recorded on Rue de Soleuvre in Belvaux at 1.44am and on Rue Prince Henri in Ettelbruck at 4.26am, with no one injured. Rescue teams from Sanem-Differdange and Esch responded in Belvaux, while the Nordstad crews were dispatched to Ettelbruck.

The CGDIS in Luxembourg City were deployed twice: at 2.46am, a car hit the safety barrier on the A4 towards Esch between Merl and the Croix de Cessange. Lastly, at 4.33am, a vehicle overturned on Rue d’Eich in the capital, leaving one person injured.
