The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps were deployed across the country to deal with a fresh spate of accidents, including a crash on the A13 which left three injured.

The first incident occurred in Kayl on Rue de Tétange at 5.30pm, when two cars collided and left one person injured.

At 9.50pm, a car crashed into a ditch in Nothum on the N26 towards Bavigne. One person was hurt in the incident.

A car flipped over on the CR347 between Schieren and Stegen shortly after midnight. One person suffered injuries in the process.

Two cars went on to collide on Boulevard Grande-Duchesse Charlotte in Belair at 1.25am, leaving only material damage.

Then shortly before 4am, another car ended up in the ditch on the CR303 at Colpach-Bas, direction Oberpallen, near the Belgian border. Again, no one was injured.

A more serious incident occurred on the A13 towards Pétange at 4.35am, when several vehicles were involved in a collision which injured three people.
