Mid-December is traditionally shooting star season. The peak for 2022 was reached at 2pm on Wednesday, when up to 150 comets per hour were shooting across the sky. Unfortunately, it was impossible to see them in Luxembourg, as it happened in the early afternoon.

However, it might still be worth your time to dabble in some star gazing on Wednesday night. If you look to the east – and if the weather conditions are right – you might be able to see between 30 and 60 shooting stars per hour.
