The first accident occurred just before 11am in Perl, where a motorist crashed into a tree. Emergency services confirmed that one person was injured in the incident.
Later in the morning, at 11.38am, another car accident took place at Cloche d'Or, resulting in one injury. Shortly before 1.30pm, an additional single-vehicle accident happened on the CR134, with emergency services again reporting one person injured.
At 2.20pm, a car accident was reported on the CR364 between Beaufort and Berdorf, with two people sustaining injuries. Just minutes later, a motorcyclist crashed on the RN27 between Boukelser Millen and Fond de Heiderscheid, leaving one person injured.
Around the same time, a motorist in Linger was involved in a crash, leading to two reported injuries. A similar incident occurred on the CR185 between Neuhaeusgen and Munsbach, where one person was hurt.
At 4.43pm, emergency services responded to another collision in Pétange, involving a car and a motorcycle. Two people were reported injured.
In addition to the road accidents, one person was injured in a fire on the RN21 between Mertzig and Niederfeulen just before 3.30pm. Approximately an hour earlier, a fire had also broken out on the RN12, though no injuries were reported in that case.
