
A car was pulled over on Avenue d'Oberkorn in Differdange at 7.30pm. During the control the officer found the car's papers were not in order and the driver did not have his license. Upon further inspection, 3.6 grammes of marijuana were found.
The public prosecutor's office issued a fine and the car was confiscated.
In Manach, a car with a flat tyre and all blinkers turned on was found standing on the N7. The driver failed an alcohol test and was fined.
At 10.50 pm a car was reported to the police as driving suspiciously between Vianden and Diekirch. In Ettelbrück, the man was stopped and his alcohol levels were twice the legal limit. His driver's licence was temporarily suspended.
A break-in was also reported on Rue Nicholas Goedert in Bridel. The unknown perpetrator entered through the back door and searched the house. Forensics were called to the scene.
On Saturday at 10.45am, the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) responded to an accident on the Place de Metz in Luxembourg City. Two cars collided, with injuries reported.
