Emergency services responded to five separate road accidents and two fires across Luxembourg on Friday night.

At around 5.40pm, a car struck a motorbike on the A1 motorway towards Trier, resulting in one person being injured.

Shortly after 6pm, two cars collided between Roeser and Alzingen, leaving another person hurt.

A more serious incident occurred at 6.30pm on the national road between Waldhof and Gonderange, where three cars were involved in a crash that led to four people being injured.

Later in the evening, at approximately 8.30pm, another accident occurred between Folkendange and Reisermillen, resulting in one individual being injured.

In the early hours of Saturday morning, at around 2am, a pedestrian was hit and injured between Leudelange-Gare and Grevels Farm. In both of these incidents, emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene.

Apart from the road accidents, rescue teams also responded to two fires. Firefighters were called to extinguish a blaze on the roof of a house on Rue de la Montagne in Hamm.

Elsewhere, between Hunnebur and Reckange, a fire broke out after a lightning strike. No injuries were reported in either of these incidents.
