There are plans for an additional ten wind turbines to be built in 2023. However, the process of building a wind farm is often not as straightforward as it may seem, mainly due to citizens opposing the projects or animal welfare concerns.

While Luxembourg is 100% dependent on other countries for diesel, petrol, heating oil, and gas, the country produces 20% of its electricity domestically.
