A meeting between energy ministers from seven European countries in Brussels resulted in the signing of an agreement on crisis communication.

The agreement was signed by the Benelux countries, Germany, France, Austria, and Switzerland. The idea of the initiative is for said nations to cooperate more closely in the area of energy supply.

The group further agreed on focusing on the energy transition in the coming years to rely more on renewables. To that end, cooperation with Norway and Great Britain is being planned. Both countries have also sent representatives to attend the meeting in Brussels.
