A motorist lost control over their vehicle and crashed into a tractor coming in the opposite direction. The incident was said to have taken place during a dangerous overtaking manoeuvre.
First responders attended to the injured before having all four of them transferred to hospital. The road was closed off to all traffic. It was later announced that a 15-year-old girl died of her injuries in the hospital.
Police are calling on all witnesses to contact their local police department, especially the drivers of a mobile crane, as well as two other cars close to the accident at the time.
