Police were called on Sunday afternoon following a report of a burglary at a flat on Route de Luxembourg in Bettembourg. According to initial findings, the intruders, who have not yet been identified, forced open a patio door to enter the property, where they ransacked several rooms. It is not yet clear whether anything was taken.
Later that day, officers received another report of a burglary, this time at a house on Rue de Rumelange in Tétange. Again, entry was gained through the patio door, and it remains uncertain whether any items were stolen.
In addition, police are investigating several thefts from vehicles. One incident occurred on Sunday afternoon on Dernier Sol in Bonnevoie, where unknown individuals smashed a car window to gain access. A further theft was reported later in the day on Rue Louis Pasteur in Differdange. In that case, the suspects also broke a window before leaving with a bag. A police patrol later located two suspicious individuals. During a search, officers recovered the stolen bag along with other items.
