At 4am on Sunday, four people were involved in a brawl on a Late Night-Bus in Scheidgen. The bus driver, alongside one of the people involved, were left lightly injured. A phone was also reportedly stolen.
In a similar incident that same night, several people clashed on a bus in Huncherange. Two people were taken to the hospital for a check-up.
In Ettelbruck, near the train station’s cafés, the police reported a series of verbal attacks and physical altercations between people at the scene. Five police patrols were needed to calm tensions down and separate people.
Meanwhile, at the Echternach lake, an intoxicated and aggressive man was taken to a sobering-up cell after attempting to climb over a barrier into E-Lake Festival and getting into an altercation with security staff.
An accident took place in Echternach shortly before 2am on Sunday. After a positive breathaliser test, the driver had his license revoked.
Another accident took place on Route d’Echternach in Dommeldange at 6.30am. A car overturned and the driver had to be treated at the scene before being taken to the hospital for a check-up. As the driver was not in possession of a license, the Public Prosecutor’s Office was informed and the incident has been officially recorded.
