Firefighters from five stations and specialist CGDIS units were called to a sawmill fire in Huldange late on Sunday, with no injuries reported.

According to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS), emergency services were called to a fire at a sawmill on Stawelerstrooss in Huldange at around 11.50pm on Sunday.

The CGDIS operational technology support group was deployed to coordinate the emergency response. Firefighters from Wiltz, Troisvierges, Clervaux, Wincrange, and Weiswampach attended the scene, along with the specialist CBRN unit, which deals with chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear risks.

An ambulance crew from Clervaux was also called out, but no one was injured and the incident resulted in material damage only.
