Luxembourg’s Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) confirmed to RTL following an enquiry, they were alerted at around 10.45 on Wednesday to a domestic fire on Rue Adolphe Fischer in the Gare district. Just under an hour later, it was reported from the scene that the fire was under control. All residents of the building were able to be evacuated.
In addition to firefighters from Luxembourg City, Hesperange, Junglinster, Roeser, and police are also on site. The street remains closed to allow firefighting operations to continue.
