The Roads and Bridges administration announced plans to carry out renewal works on the A7 motorway heading northbound. Diversions will be in place to allow engineers to replace the access control lights to the Grouft and Stafelter tunnels.
The A7 motorway towards Neudorf at the Lorentzweiler interchange will be shut. Cars travelling on the A7 towards Neudorf will be diverted from the Lorentzweiler junction via the return roundabout on the A7 motorway.
Traffic on the A7 will be operated in bidirectional mode in the Grouft and Stafelter tunnels. It is possible that traffic jams could develop as early as Friday afternoon due to preparatory works.
