Following the press conference given by Minister of Education Claude Meisch on Thursday, the Ministry of Sport issued a press release to address potential implications for the sector. Even though schools will be closed next week, the current restrictions for sport activities are to remain unchanged.
However, officials "strongly recommend" that clubs relocate their training sessions for children and youths outside in an attempt to align both government entities and send out a coherent message.
The recommendations cover the period from 8 to 21 February 2021.
