Two people were injured in separate accidents on Monday evening, including a pedestrian hit by a car in Huldange.

The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) reported two accidents on Monday evening, with two people injured in total.

In one accident at around 5.55pm in Huldange, in Schmëtt, a pedestrian was hit by a car. The injured person was treated by an emergency doctor from the Emergency Medical Assistance Service (SAMU) and the rescue helicopter crew. Ambulance crews and firefighters from Troisvierges were also deployed.

Another accident occurred at around 8.11pm on the CR329 between Noertrange and Gruemelscheid, where a car hit a tree. According to the CGDIS, the driver had attempted to avoid an obstacle before the crash.

One person was injured in the accident and treated by the Wiltz emergency services.
