On Friday morning the trade union OGBL revealed that a redundancy plan was announced at BCD Travel. The company’s management says that ten out of forty employees could lose their jobs. Negotiations start next week.
A spokesperson of the trade union reiterated that the entire travel industry has been severely impacted by the crisis. OGBL is calling for an extensive furlough scheme to safeguard jobs.
