At the beginning of March, Fapsylux put out a new recommendation for its more than 500 members, telling them to bill hourly session rates of €175.

The patients’ representatives association has since reacted to this recommendation, calling out the excessive price that many patients are unable to pay. In a statement, the association accuses Fapsylux of taking patients hostage and urges the organisation to sit down and renegotiate their demand.

In the case that no consensus can be reached between parties, the patients’ representatives association believes that the government should close the chapter once and for all with an executive decision on the matter.
