The suspect was detained in the capital's Gare neighbourhood on 1 January.
Police conveyed that they were able to locate some of the stolen items in a hide-out, and that the culprit was likely involved in a series or break-ins throughout December.
By order of the prosecutor's office, the man in question was presented to an examining magistrate on Saturday.
