According to Henri Kox, the police departments responsible for the country’s Central District are currently conducting a reorganisation process to ensure that enough manpower can be deployed in the field.
However, no concrete numbers were indicated.
The minister further explained that the reinforced recruitment programme is still in its early stages, but that the situation will become more stable as of spring next year.
