The police have published a new appeal for witnesses potentially linking three armed robberies that have occurred in Luxembourg in recent months.

Armed robberies took place at petrol stations in the Schengen area on 21 October and 3 November 2021, as well as on 11 January 2022. The police suspect that these incidents are connected.

The suspect was “dressed identically” in each case. He is a man of about 1.90m, speaks German, and was seen during the robberies wearing a black and silver Levior motorbike helmet, a blue and black Erima jacket, pink sunglasses, and black cargo trousers. He was armed with a black Walther P99 pistol.

During the robbery in October 2021, the suspect was accompanied by another individual. The following is a description of the accomplice:

  • 1.80m, slim build
  • wore a dark balaclava, black cargo trousers, and Engelbert Strauss gloves
  • was armed with a black and silver pistol.
