Police stopped a total of 759 motorists in Diekirch, Ingeldorf, and Fridhaff. Nine tested positive for alcohol, out of whom three had their driving license revoked at the scene.
Also on Saturday evening, police found a motorist stationed at a bus stop in Wiltz. A subsequent alcohol check showed that the driver had significantly too much to drink, which is why officers revoked his license and sent him to the hospital for a check-up.
