On Monday morning, police were alerted to a suspicious vehicle on the N7. Officers eventually caught up with the motorist on a country road near Lipperscheid, where they stopped and checked the vehicle.
According to reports, the driver was disoriented and refused to leave his vehicle. The man continued putting up a fight until officers eventually immobilised him and took him to the station.
After a search of the vehicle, police confiscated close to 100 grams of cannabis and fined the driver.
