HammPolice seek witnesses following hit-and-run accident injuring pedestrian

Police have launched a witness appeal regarding a hit-and-run accident that occurred on 9 January.

At around 8.10am on 9 January, a pedestrian was struck and slightly injured by a car while crossing the street with her dog on Rue des Peupliers in Hamm. Although the driver initially checked on the woman, he then left the scene without providing his personal details.

The driver is described as a man aged between 30 and 45, who spoke English and was driving a light grey vehicle with Luxembourg registration plates, travelling in the direction of Cents.

In light of the accident, police are now urging the driver himself, as well as any witnesses to the accident, to contact the Ernz police station on (+352) 244 74 1000 or by email at police.ernz@police.etat.lu.
