According to initial findings, the cables may have fallen from a lorry or delivery van shortly before they were discovered.
Anyone who observed a suspicious vehicle or anything unusual in the area of the roundabout is asked to contact the Esch-sur-Alzette police station, either by calling (+352) 244 52 1000 or by emailing Police.BELVAUX@police.etat.lu
