On Wednesday, police in the Diekirch-Vianden region issued a public appeal to locate the owners of various stolen items recovered during recent investigations.

The seized objects include several smartphones, Bluetooth speakers and headphones, as well as a collection of tools – among them various pliers, screwdrivers, and a cordless screwdriver.

Authorities are asking anyone who may have had such property stolen to contact the Diekirch-Vianden police station by phone at (+352) 244 801 000 or by email at police.diekirchvianden@police.etat.lu.

In unrelated incidents, police also reported two burglaries that occurred on Tuesday. In Remich, unknown perpetrators broke into a business during the afternoon and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

Later that same day, a residence in Goesdorf was targeted. The intruders gained entry by smashing a glass terrace door before ransacking the home.

Investigations into both cases are ongoing. As a reminder, the police provide advice on burglary prevention on their official website.
