Two workers were in the process of clearing the warehouse when five armed individuals threatened and assaulted them. According to the victims, the perpetrators used at least two Mercedes vehicles for the assault, and may have possibly used a Mercedes Vito van as well.
During the attack, one of the victims was able to sound the emergency alarm and run away. The second victim was also able to escape and ran towards Doncols via Rue Jean Baptiste Determe. Four of the perpetrators fled in a black Mercedes with German number plates, only to be stopped by the police later on.
The final perpetrator, possibly an individual of Pakistani origins, remains at large. Any witnesses who may have seen the individual in Sonlez on 15 February between 1am and 10am should contact the police at 113.
