In the early hours of Sunday, several drivers lost their licenses after being caught driving under the influence. Among them was a woman who, around 1.30am, was found driving on the wrong side of Rue Ermesinde in Luxembourg City.
At 5am, a police patrol noticed a driver parked at a bus stop on the Lankelz bypass. The driver had to undergo an alcohol test which resulted positive.
Just an hour later, at 6am a man drove his vehicle over the tram tracks in the Gare district. He, too, had consumed too much alcohol – his license was subsequently revoked.
