At around 3.40pm on Wednesday, police received a report that a man carrying a knife had been seen in the area around the train station in Pétange. Officers were dispatched to the scene but were unable to locate anyone matching the description provided. Authorities have since launched an investigation in an effort to determine the precise circumstances surrounding the incident.
