There were four reported burglaries across Luxembourg this weekend, with perpetrators stealing a range of jewellery and high-value goods.

On Saturday, unidentified criminals smashed a shop window and broke into a building on the Route d’Arlon in Mamer.

In the south-east of the country, burglars forced open a balcony door on Avenue Élise Deroche in Mondorf-les-Bains, making off with jewellery and other valuable items.

On Saturday afternoon, it was reported an apartment was broken into on the Rue Victor Hugo in Esch-sur-Alzette.

A jewellery theft was also attended by police on the Duarrefstrooss in Leithum, on Saturday evening.

The police have launched investigations into all of the incidents and enquries are ongoing.
