All’s well that ends well: on 5 March, the police was called to rescue a Eurasian sparrow hawk, which is a robust bird of prey from the Accipitridae family.
According to the police, the bird was injured and had been spotted by motorists along the motorway. Naturally, a road patrol unit was dispatched without delay.
The officers managed to capture the bird safely and transport it to a wildlife rescue centre in Dudelange, where it received medical attention. Luckily, the bird is recovering well.
