On Sunday morning, a driver suspected of being under the influence hit a curb in a tunnel on the A7, causing a flat tyre. The individual then drove to a petrol station in Lorentzweiler, where police intercepted him. A breathalyser test confirmed he was over the limit. Additionally, the driver lacked valid insurance leading to his car being seized on the orders of the prosecutor’s office. He was also issued a provisional driving ban.

Later that morning, police stopped another driver in Hellange on Route de Mondorf. A positive alcohol test resulted in the immediate revocation of his licence.

On Sunday evening, a car travelling erratically from Junglinster towards Gonderange collided with a guardrail. Police intercepted the vehicle in Senningerberg. The driver, who tested positive for alcohol, was handed a provisional driving ban.

A similar incident occurred in the early hours of Monday morning on the CR101 near Gosseldange. A woman driving unsteadily was stopped by police, tested positive for alcohol, and received a provisional driving ban.
