
At around 3.30pm on Tuesday, the police received reports of a potential burglary at a residence situated on Route d’Arlon in Perl. Upon arrival, clear evidence of a break-in was discovered at the scene. A search of the premises revealed that the house had been ransacked. Three men were located on the upper floor of the residence and subsequently immobilised.
In response, the three suspects were apprehended and later presented before an examining magistrate in the course of the day.
Later in the afternoon, another burglary was reported on Rue Michel Lintz in Esch-sur-Alzette. Preliminary information suggests that two suspects gained access to the property through a window and a terrace door. The police were able to apprehend both individuals on the scene.
The public prosecutor’s office initiated the process of documenting the personal details of the two suspects and subsequently ordered the arrest of one of the individuals. The stolen items were returned to their rightful owner.
