The incident is thought to have occurred overnight from 8.25pm on 5 January to 7.30am on 6 January.
Police said a car crashed into a vehicle parked on the side of the road on “La Gaichel” in Eischen. The driver who caused the collision failed to stop at the scene.
The hit and run vehicle is thought to be a red Opel Corsa or Meriva. The owner of the car, or witnesses to the crash, are encouraged to contact Capellen police on (+352) 244 30 1000 or via email at Police.CAPELLENSTEINFORT@police.etat.lu.
