The errant driver was travelling the wrong way down the A13 motorway between Dudelange and Kayl, where he collided with two other cars near the Dudelange/Burange exit. Instead of stopping at the site of the crash, the motorist fled in the direction of Kayl.
The police have since been able to locate the vehicle in question.
