A police intervention took an unexpected turn on Wednesday in Kayl. The authorities were called in for a possible break-in in the basement of a building, but they discovered a sleeping man.
According to that individual, a resident had allowed him to spend the night there. However, a quick search exposed various objects commonly used with drugs. As a result, the public prosecutor's office ordered thorough searches of the involved residents' homes.
The police's search yielded two computers, two mobile phones and, most importantly, three kilograms of hashish as well as some marijuana. The two individuals were brought before a judge on Thursday.
