
Police, customs, and criminal investigators also performed routine controls inside trains.
During a check on 1 July, two people were arrested for drug possession. One of them had 19 pellets of cocaine on him, the other 15 packages of hashish.
During a subsequent search of their homes, police found another 300 grams of hashish, seven mobile phones, as well as a large amount of cash money.
Apart from this incident, police awarded three more fines for drug possession. They further discovered four people that were violating the right of residence.
A total of 36 policemen were actively supporting the operation over the past weeks.
