A speeding driver attempted to flee from a police patrol on the A4 near Leudelange on Sunday afternoon. Officers eventually managed to stop the vehicle. Both alcohol and drug tests came back positive, and the driver’s licence was confiscated on the spot.
Also on Sunday, police revoked another motorist’s licence after he was spotted driving erratically in the Gare district of Luxembourg City.
Later that evening in Schoenfels, another motorist was reported for dangerous driving. A police patrol stopped the vehicle shortly afterwards, and a breathalyser test returned a positive result. A provisional driving ban was issued.
On Sunday evening, officers observed an intoxicated individual inside a premises on Place de la Gare in Luxembourg City. Although the police asked the man to leave, he refused. Once outside, he continued causing a disturbance and physically assaulted the officers. Following a medical examination, the man was taken into custody.
