The first arrest took place around 2.30pm in a cafe on Rue de Strasbourg, where officers came across a heavily intoxicated man who posted a danger to himself and others. He spent the night in a sobering-up cell.
That evening, around 8.50pm, officers were called to a cafe brawl on Rue de Bonnevoie. A drunk man involved in the argument refused to leave the cafe, leading police to place him in overnight custody.
