A suspected drug dealer has been brought before an examining magistrate following his arrest in the Gare neighbourhood of Luxembourg City.
The incident began on Tuesday evening when a police patrol observed an exchange between two individuals on Rue du Fort Neipperg. After the interaction, the two separated and walked off in opposite directions.
Suspecting that a drug transaction had taken place, officers decided to stop and question both parties. During the check, the alleged dealer was found in possession of drugs, cash, and a mobile phone. The other individual was also found carrying narcotics.
The suspect was taken into custody and appeared before an examining magistrate on Wednesday morning.
