Burglary in BrouchPolice apprehend burglar, second suspect evades capture

After a burglary occurred in Brouch, authorities swiftly responded to reports of suspicious activity on Friday afternoon along Route d'Arlon.

Upon arrival, police apprehended one suspect at the scene, while another managed to evade capture by fleeing in a vehicle. Despite immediate efforts to locate the fleeing suspect, they remain at large.

The apprehended suspect was subsequently arrested under the direction of the public prosecutor’s office and presented before an examining magistrate the following day. The police confiscated the stolen items and burglary tools, with further investigative measures initiated.

Meanwhile, an individual was caught attempting to break into a garden shed in Fond St. Martin at around 4.40pm on the same day and was promptly dealt with by law enforcement, receiving a fine for their actions.

Later that evening, another burglary occurred in a detached house located on Rue de Holzem in Garnich. The perpetrator gained entry through a kitchen window and proceeded to ransack multiple rooms, stealing money and jewellery. Police have launched an investigation into this incident.
