Following the theft in the Gare district, police took the description of the two suspects and launched a search operation – both perpetrators could be arrested. The mobile phone was also found on them.
During the search, one of the two perpetrators was not only uncooperative, but also acted aggressively towards police. He was immobilised by police officers, two of whom were injured in the altercation.
In Mondorf, a man at an ATM on Avenue Frantz Clement withdrawing cash money was approached by two men. The perpetrators stole the victim’s money and fled.
Police have launched an investigation.
