According to first reports, the police received a suspect call. Upon further inquiry, police confirmed this.
The police created a security perimeter and evacuated everybody at the station at around 2pm. Bomb detection dogs were at the scene.
Rail traffic between Pétange and Rodange, as well as towards Luxembourg on the 60 and 70 lines was suspended. It should now be back to business as usual on the on Luxembourg's rails, even though some delays are still possible due to this afternoon's bomb scare.
