A person was injured in a car accident in Esch-sur-Alzette on Wednesday evening while two overnight fires caused material damage, as reported by the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS).

A person was hit by a car on Rue Pierre Krier in Esch-sur-Alzette shortly before 8pm on Wednesday. The victim sustained injuries in the accident and was treated by local emergency services dispatched to the scene.

The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) further reports two overnight fires, which both resulted in material damage. One affected a bin in Rodange, the other a car on the A13 between Altwies and Frisange.
