Shortly before midday, two cars collided on the CR181 between Strassen and Bridel, leaving one person injured. Luxembourg City paramedics were assisted at the scene by fire fighters from Bertrange and Mamer.
In Wemperhaart, three lorries were involved in a collision which left one person injured shortly after 1pm. The Clervaux ambulance, the Weiswampach and Troisvierges fire brigades and the Samu helicopter were dispatched to the site of the crash.
Separately, a pedestrian sustained injuries after being struck by a car on the N26 between Bavigne and Nothum at around 2pm. Local emergency crews assisted at the scene.
