The pedestrian tried using a zebra crossing in Rue de Chariots in Ettelbruck when he was hit by a car.
Although the driver fled the scene, the police were able to identify and stop the women responsible for the accident soon after.
Since her alcohol test came back positive, officers revoked her license. The pedestrian was brought to a hospital for treatment.
The police are still looking for additional witnesses to clear up the circumstances of the accident.
