According to preliminary findings, the pedestrian tried crossing the rails at a non-designated spot and failed to see the oncoming tram in time. The police report that the woman suffered light injuries as she was only grazed by the tram.
The woman was later brought to a hospital for a check-up. Emergency services from Luxembourg City were at the scene to provide assistance.
